2005 Pennsylvania Payroll Professional of the Year
The Pennsylvania Payroll
Professional of the Year award is presented each year at
the annual PA Statewide Payroll Conference to recognize
an outstanding payroll professional within our state.
Congratulations to Ken Krum CPP, the 2005 Pennsylvania
Payroll Professional of the Year!
Each of the four PA Chapters of the
APA submitted a nominee for this award. Nominees were
then reviewed based upon their involvement at the
chapter level (60%), national level (10%), job level
(20%) and community level (10%). All of the nominees
are outstanding payroll professionals and are to be
commended for their service to their profession, their
company and their community.

She has been instrumental in the development and
continuing coordination of the internet CPP study

The nominee from the Western PA
Chapter was Flo Wilmot-Burner. Flo has been a
member of the Western PA Chapter for several years. She
has served her chapter as Corresponding Secretary,
website developer and maintainer, and PA Statewide
Conference committee member. Flo has acted as
Administrator for several APA nationally sponsored
seminars in the Pittsburgh area and has represented the
Western PA Chapter at these seminars. She attended a
Leadership Seminar in June 2005 at APA’s training center
in San Antonio on her own time to learn ways to develop
and improve her chapter. Currently, Flo is working on
chapter initiatives to not only spread word of the
chapter through the community, but also to help needy
organizations through 50/50 raffles, business clothing
drives and soup kitchen donations.
Congratulations to all of these
nominees! They are true Payroll Professionals.
