SEPA Presents:

Affordable Care Act Updates

Presented by Conrad Siegel Actuaries

This presentation will

  • Provide an update on recent developments with the implementation of the Affordable Care Act.
  • Review the rules for Employer Shared Responsibility, the potential penalties for noncompliance, and focus a good deal of the discussion on the associated employer reporting requirements that will begin in January 2016.
  • We will also touch on recent guidance associated with the “Cadillac Tax” set to begin in 2018.

Dinner Selection

Dinner will be served buffet style and will include salad, Oven Roasted Chicken, Seared Beef Tips, Olive Oil Pan-Seared Salmon, seasonal vegetables, dessert and coffee. If you have special dietary needs, please contact Kelly Jo at vicepresident@sepaapa.org.

Please remember that if your membership is due for renewal, you must first renew your membership online before you will be able to register at the member rate.  Membership renewal is located in the Membership section of the SEPA website.

Registration for this event will close as of May 11, 2015 or earlier if registration reaches room capacity.  Walk-ins cannot be guaranteed a seat and will only be allowed into the event at the chapter's discretion based on available accommodations.

Community Outreach

The Chester County SPCA’s Pet Food Pantry launched January 31st of 2015.

The goal of this program is to provide free food assistance to pet owners living below the poverty level.

The CCSPCA believes that difficulty paying for food should not be a reason for owners to surrender their pets to the shelter.

The establishment of the Pet Food Pantry will ensure that all members of the community will have accessible food to keep their families together.

Items needed:  Various pet foods, pet snacks, and cat litter.

Thank you for your support!
