Labor Law

Laws and regulatory issues can be complicated and hard to understand.  Mark Fitzgerald, Partner at Fox Rothschild, LLP Attorneys At Law will go over payroll laws and regulations so that you will understand them and be able to keep your payroll in compliance.

Mr. Fitzgerald concentrates his practice in labor and employment issues confronting school entities in the commonwealth of Pennsylvania. As part of his labor practice, Mark is chief negotiator for a number of school districts involved in collective bargaining with their professional and support staff unions.   Mark’s practice also includes defending clients before the Pennsylvania Labor Relations Board, the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission, the EEOC and in state and federal court.

The dinner menu will be “The Farmer’s Delight.”  A selection of seasonal soup, farm greens, oven roasted chicken, pasta primavera, seasonal vegetables and cheesecake.  If you have special dietary needs, please contact Kelly Jo at vicepresident@sepaapa.org.

Please remember that if your membership is due for renewal, you must first renew your membership online before you will be able to register at the member rate.  Membership renewal is located in the Membership section of the SEPA website.

Registration for this event will close as of May 8, 2017 or earlier if registration reaches room capacity.  Walk-ins cannot be guaranteed a seat and will only be allowed into the event at the chapter's discretion based on available accommodations.

Laurel House

Laurel House is a comprehensive domestic violence agency serving individuals, families and communities throughout Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. The agency’s name was selected because of the beauty of the laurel, Pennsylvania’s state flower. It represents a victory for people who have taken the courageous first step of reaching out to Laurel House in their efforts to build a violence-free life for themselves and their children.

Laurel House is in need of gift cards (Wawa, Target, Walmart), Food & Pantry Items, Children Items, Linens and Clothing.
